1. The graduates with license diploma – cycle I or the equivalent can apply for the enrollment at master studies. The selection of candidates is being achieved on the basis of general average of graduating of university studies and other criteria established by the ULIM’s administration. The general average of marks of the graduation of the institution of high education is established by Rector’s order for admission to master studies.
2. The admission applications to master studies are addressed to ULIM’s Rector. The documents required for the application are as follows:
- data sheet;
- CV;
- certified copy of license diploma or high education studies;
- medical certificate (086-U form);
- 3 photographs 3 x 4;
- copy of identity card;
- confirmation of enrollment payment.
3. Deadline for presenting the applications and the papers at Science Department is October 1st of the academic year.
4. The admission to master studies is made by exams or Rector’s decision, by competitive dossiers.
5. The admission to master studies is usually produced in the field studied at university, not taking into consideration the institution of high education and year when the diploma was obtained.
6. At certain specialties it’s allowed the enrollment of candidates from other specialties (related). Nomenclature of related specialties are determined by the decision of Council’s Department and Council for scientific activity, ULIM.
7. The enrollment to master studies from ULIM is made by Rector’s decision.
8. The enrolled candidates conclude a contract with ULIM’s administration for the entire period of studies.
Master degree studies are the second step of university studies and which assure a good knowledge in the field of licentiate studies or in an appropriate field, the development of the abilities of scientific investigation constitutes an obligatory base for doctoral studies. According to the Bologna process, master degree corresponds to a number of 300 studying transferable credits (ECTS).
Master degree studies are organized within the Economics Science faculty and basic chairs which dispose the scientific-didactic adequate staff and necessary material resources. The studying process at master degree is organized only at full-time section.
Within the Economics Science faculty all the disciplines from the studying program at the Master’s Cycle can be delivered in four basic languages : Romanian, Russian, French and English.
The enrollment at the master’s cycle is allowed only on the base of licentiate diploma in the specialized or another domain. At the end of the studies you have to pass an exam, after which you obtain Master Diploma. The master thesis must present a work issued in conformity with scientific requirements having innovational and theoretic-applicative value. Master diploma certificates that its holder obtained general and specialized competences and knowledge as well as cognitive and specific abilities.
